For those of us that are behind the evil corporate regime's firewalls (the packet sniffing bastards). irc-ssl has once again returned.
irc-ssl.sackheads.org:6669
Make sure you note the port (6669) as no other port will allow you to connect. And you must connect with ssl encryption either with an ssl enabled client or stunnel. You can figure it out.
Baconhouse is once again in the house. The bacon house. That is, it's a real machine again. Out of the clink. Rejoice or whatever. It's a long story. Hell, I'll tell it. Back in March we found out we were evicted. Had to move it from Philadelphia to somewhere else. John got us hooked up with some nice hosting in NEW YORK CITY????! and we mailed the sucker off. Only it arrived ...bent. FedEx apparently thought it was a football.
We fussed and we fuddled, rampaged and cuddled, but without hands-on lovin' it wouldn't go. No sackhands to be had in the concrete jungle.. So we had it shipped to the wilds of North Carolina where an aboriginal tribesman we call 'martel' and his sidekick 'ton' performed some hasty miracles on it, and then shipped it BACK to the big, worm-ridden apple. Finally it booted up in its new home.
Time passes.. along with various trials, tribulations, a tense moment or two, and lots of work on hide's part.. and it's all good. The sack infrastructure is restored to its former glory, my comrades. We shall overcome.
