This turned out to not just be a fortunes replacement or another quotes database. I've dug into Ruby this past year and dug deep enough to find Camping, a bit of a joke, and Mongrel, an answer to FCGI and mod_ruby. The entire process including ActiveRecord, the Camping framework, the application itself, and Mongrel, is running on an Ubuntu UML in 18MB of memory. More details to come. Nug -- May 6, 2006
